Associate - Pre-IPO assessments

Job description

  • Pre-IPO assessments as well as taking part in due-diligence work for various M&A;
  • Help improve companies by assessing weaknesses and recommending solutions;
  • Provide an analysis of the existing practices of a company and make recommendations for improvements;
  • Reviewing financial systems, evaluating business models and analyzing business practices;
  • Analyze and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes  
  • Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s wishes, capabilities and limitations forming concise reports
  • Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice
  • Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes
  • Assist the client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies
  • Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or related discipline
  • Knowledge of diverse IPO matters such as accounting standards and listing rules etc
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Familiarity with a wide selection of financial management software (金蝶, 用友 & peachtree etc)
  • Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude in creative problem-solving
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Knowledge of diverse IPO matters such as accounting standards and listing rules etc;
  • Experience in leading a team in an IPO project;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • Familiarity with a wide selection of financial management software (金蝶,用友 & peachtree etc);
  • Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Aptitude in creative problem-solving.
